The Use Case:

Scroll through an Earth data timeseries, served as an x/y/t datacube, and present the time slices visually.

The service:

Several datacubes are provided showing averaged global temperature, chlorophyll, and radiance timeseries products. While normally data get colored in the fly, here data have been pre-rendered for the purpose of demonstration. Via WCPS query timeslices are extracted successively and displayed with NASA/ESA WebWorldWind; animation speed depends on the connection bandwidth. All datacubes can be freely combined like map layers, activated through the layer selector. Hovering over this text displays the WCPS queries generated dynamically; start the animation and see the query change!
