This OGC Web Map Service (WMS 1.3) offers a BlueMarble background layer plus DTM (Digital Terrain Models) data which can be toggled on and off. The WMS client, OpenLayers 3.8.2, parallelizes map visualization into multiple parallel GetMap requests which the rasdaman engine responds to, likewise multi-parallel.
